Basel Miami Beach, our guests in this 3-day event
- The Contemporary Art Experience - will be enveloped
by an unparalleled display of world-class art works, galleries,
experts, and events that have become synonymous with the show.
This setting, along with our expert-led talks at the Ritz-Carlton, South Beach, and private small-group guided tours
throughout the fair, will foster an environment whereby our guests
are exposed to the latest market trends, gain important insight
on curatorial and display issues, directly interact with artworks
and important industry professionals at the fair, and learn about
artists with the hottest careers today.
This
unique learning program will take you behind the scenes, demystify
the art market, and reveal the great fun and pleasure one can
experience in pursuit of a passion for fine art. Access to select
private parties and events will fuel the celebratory atmosphere
of the event. Upon completion of this 3-day workshop, each member
will receive a Certificate of Completion from Sotheby’s
Institute of Art. Space is limited at this private collector's
event which will include tours of select area resident's art collections
in some of Miami's most beautiful settings.

Art
Basel Miami Beach will take place from December 1 - 4. The
international art show in Miami Beach, Florida is the American
sister event of Art Basel in Switzerland, the most important annual
art show worldwide for the past 35 years. Art Basel Miami Beach
is a new type of cultural event, combining a contemporary art
show with an exciting program of special exhibitions, parties
and crossover events including music, film, architecture and design.
Exhibition sites are located in the city's beautiful Art Deco
District, within walking distance of the beach and most hotels
and restaurants.
An exclusive selection of 180 leading art galleries from North
America, Latin America, Europe, Africa and Asia will exhibit 20th
and 21st century art works by over 1000 artists. The exhibiting
galleries are among the world's most respected art dealers. They
will be showing exceptional works by both renowned established
artists and cutting-edge newcomers. The show will be a vital source
for discovering new developments in contemporary art and rare
museum-calibre art works. Art collectors, artists, dealers, curators,
critics and art enthusiasts from around the world will participate
in the event, along with prominent members of the entertainment
industry. All areas of art (painting, drawing, sculpture, installation,
photography, editions, performance, digital and video art) will
be on display and can be purchased. Prices start at a few hundred
dollars for multiples and works by young artists, and soar into
